Another interesting site to use is Google Maps streetview.
After searching for an address, enter streetview and press the button circled in blue "See more Dates"
After pressing the "See more dates" button, a black bar will appear on the bottom, it will show all of the streetview photos available.
In New Zealand, Streetview was introduced in late 2008 so the earliest you will find is from roughly 2008-2009, however streetview is semi-regularly updated with new photos added every few years.
